Welcome to the East Room Restaurant
Hi all and welcome to the East Room Restaurant at Plassey House
Here at The East Room, our primary goal from the outset has been to offer a unique and totally new dining experience using the best of Irish and primarily local ingredients, but at genuinely affordable prices, because I believe that fine dining and really good food should be accessible to the many, not the few.
Whether you are looking for that unique venue to entertain friends, family, valued clients or colleagues, The East Room at Plassey House offers the perfect fine dining experience.
The charming but relaxed, Club Like ambience, crisp white linen, elegant, contemporary cutlery and tableware greet you on arrival, giving you that feeling that you have made the right choice because you are somewhere different ...somewhere special.
My team and I have brought together many years of experience in establishments such as Dromoland Castle, Les Gourmandaises and The Treasury to offer you an exquisite, contemporary selection of mouth watering dishes which our regular visitors tell us cannot be enjoyed anywhere else.
We love what we do and we love the reward such compliments bring and this stimulates us to create new, interesting, delicate dishes, bursting with natural flavour, all from the best of primarily local and Irish ingredients so that every single time you dine at The East Room, whether for pleasure or business or both, it is a new and truly positive experience which will hold long lasting fond memories.
We also believe that authentic fine dining should cater for all budgets and so our lunch menu starts at a very reasonably priced €25.00, while our early evening Table D’Hote dinner menu is set at €37.50.
For a more private and intimate dining experience, we can also offer you exclusive use of The Armitage Room where we can cater for up to 16 guests.
So the next time you are looking for a truly unique but affordable fine dining experience, why not give my team and I at The East Room the chance to impress.
