All dishes are created using only the finest and freshest of local and Irish ingredients so that you always feel that each dining experience is a unique event and worthy of any special occasion.

Summer is here at last and the end of day sunshine casts a beautiful glow on the East Room every evening. The team here at The East Room are really looking forward to welcoming you to Plassey House.

We have continued to maintain our number one ranking on TripAdvisor in Limerick and over 90% of our reviews boast a 5 star excellent rating.  The foundations of our success remain the same; incredible food, unparalleled service and an unforgettable setting.

We have also recently linked up with The University of Limerick’s rooftop gardeners to supply vegetables and herbs to our kitchen which ties in perfectly with our sustainability ethos.  Some of our ingredients are grown a few hundred yards from our kitchen and compliment other ingredients which are foraged on campus and nearby in Glenstal. Foraged woodruff, wild horseradish, cabbage flowers and elderflowers all play a part in our new menu.

With our main dining room boasting new works of art and our early evening menu still priced at only €39.50 for three courses, we look forward to meeting customers new and old to enjoy the award winning cuisine and service in the timeless elegance of Plassey House
